THE ARTS COUNCIL OF ENGLAND

The EBE received a generous grant from the Arts Council of England in July 2006 to help with our four-day music residency at The University of Sheffield. With this money we were able to hold both private and public rehearsal sessions, host a unique children's event where the EBE worked directly with children from all over South Yorkshire and provide 'open to the public' rehearsals, and several lectures by leading specialist Dr. John Butt and BBC presenter Simon Heighes.
