Jane Rogers - Biography
Jane Rogers studied at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Jan Schlapp, Stephen Shingles and John White.She became a member of the European Baroque Orchestra in 1989 and embarked on a busy career in the field of Early Music. She was a member of The English Concert for 8 years and is principal viola with The Kings Consort,The Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra and The English Baroque Soloists. Jane has apeared on many CD recordings,most recently with her String Quartet, The Amsterdam String Quartet with whom she has just recorded a disc of music by Haydn. Jane teaches Baroque Viola at The Royal Academy of Music and The Guildhall
School of Music and Drama.
