Bojan čičić - Biography
Bojan cicic was born in Zagreb in 1979 and graduated with a diploma in modern violin from The Zagreb Academy of Music. In 2005 he obtained a post-graduate diploma from the Paris Conservatoire (CNSMDP) and a year later, a Masters Degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) in London with Rachel Podger. He would like to express his gratitude to Mrs Kite and GSMD benefactors for providing him with a scholarship that has made his studies at The Guildhall possible.
Bojan has already had the opportunity to work with Enrico Onofri, The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment under Sir Charles Mackerras, Les Talens Lyriques with Christophe Rousset, The Gabrielli Consort and Players and The Academy of Ancient Music.
He lead a project of Dido and Aeneas by H. Purcell for the Aix-en-Provence Festival during the summer, under the direction of Kenneth Weiss which received universal acclaim. At present he is touring with European Brandenburg Ensemble lead by Trevor Pinnock, a production of Handelís Tolomeo and Purcellís Dido and Aeneas with English Touring Opera and a recording for the Gabrieli Consort and Players.
